The Best Team Building Experinces I Have Ever Had

A few weeks ago, our company hosted a 'team building vacation' for the employees to get to know each other a little better. One of the events that we participated in was the select cocktail mixing hosted by wooden door. They sent their own bartender, Woody, to lighten the mood by putting on a show about cocktail mixing. Not only was it an entertaining show, all of the drinks were great and really put us in a social mood.

The event was hosted at the restaurant where the company decided we would have dinner. The cocktail mixing event was scheduled before dinner. It was by far of the best team building experiences in which I have ever participated.

As employees and team members arrived at the event, Woody, the exuberant bartender, was greeting each person with a cold, strong drink of orange juice and vodka. Immediately, the drinks started flowing and people were having a great time. Everyone was excited to converse and get to know each other in a lighter setting. People seemed a little more wiling be be themselves. We immediately felt great, but this was just the beginning.

After everyone arrived, Woody began an exciting presentation that taught everyone how to make their own cocktails. Excitement filled the room as the bartender mixed drink after drink to perfection, handing them out to various team members. Before we knew it, everyone was laughing and cheering as Woody continued to teach us how to pour different drinks.

When he finished his presentation on cocktail mixing, things really became fun. We broke into teams and had a challenge to see which team could create the best original cocktail. Each team was given a large selection of liquors and juices to begin experimenting. Each member was able to try to create his or her own unique concoction. We all shared our drinks with each other before deciding on the best drink to represent our team.
The alcohol loosened people up and team members really became closer friends through the experience. The event gave team members the chance to bond, communicate, and enjoy each other in a less serious setting than the work place. It was by far one of the best team building experiences I have ever had.
